A brief introduction to the new trend of online advertising.
The advertisement spending on Internet has already surpassed that on traditional TV commercials and we will see the gap become wider in the next 5 years [1].
And pandemic clearly has accelerated this transition.
Among all types of online advertisement, digital video advertising is the most promising, which can be partially proved by Youtube’s increasing revenue[2]. Usually, the device is mobile or desktop for typical video commercials, of which desktop is the dominating one, However, we can see Youtube connected TV is attracting more attention [3] since marketers are trying to reach a broader customer base through actionable connected TV (CTV).
